Kieran Goss Annie Kinsella

Veteran Irish songwriter Kieran Goss and singer Annie Kinsella released their debut duo album: ‘Oh, the Starlings’ on 1st March 2019.

Goss has long been considered one of Ireland’s greatest songwriters. Together with singer and artist Annie Kinsella, who has joined him onstage on his recent tours, they have enchanted audiences with their live performances and won rave reviews.

Recorded in New York in Spring 2018 with eight time Grammy winning engineer Kevin Killen at the helm (David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, U2, Elvis Costello), Oh, The Starlings has been described by songwriter Rodney Crowell as : ‘So good, it¹s heartbreaking… The record itself feels like an old friend.’

With songs, stories and harmonies that transport the listener to another world, this is music from the heart, for the heart… A show to make you laugh and cry… A show to move you with its honest beauty… A show not to be missed.

Keep Telling me Lies

Of all the iconic buildings in Belfast, the now derelict Floral Hall still stands; a monument to the history of life, love, loss and the music of the Showband era.

Keep Telling Me Lies tells of thejourney of two Belfast women. Set against the backdrop of the crumbling Floral Hall, they recall the fateful night they met their future musician husbands.

Old grudges resurface and sparks fly as they reminisce about the lifestyles of their globetrotting husbands who experienced fame and fortune while the wives they left behind struggled to bring up their young families, working all day and lonely all night.

This is a story, driven by the music of the Showbands, the people who made the magic happen and those left on the side lines.
