Frank Mitchell is a television and radio presenter working for UTV and Ireland’s fastest growing radio station U105.

He is one half of the popular presentation team on the highly successful UTV Life and has just completed the exciting UTV series Ultimate Ulster.

Known across the country for his colourful weather forecasts, Frank is one of the busiest broadcasters in Ireland. He presents five live television programmes and five live radio programmes each week. He was also renowned for presenting the popular entertainment series School Around the Corner between 1995 and 2005.

The former schoolteacher, nightclub DJ, Downtown Radio presenter and BBC producer is enjoying the success that is being shared by the strong broadcasting team working at UTV’s Havelock House in Belfast.

Lives
Frank was born in Burren, Co Down and now lives with his wife and daughter Laura.

Hobbies/Interests
Outside of his busy working life, he still manages to find time for hill walking and football - just two of his many hobbies. He also has a great love for the art of disco/nightclub entertainment and says he’ll eventually write the history of disco, club and dance.
