Adrian Logan, affectionately known as Logie, joined UTV in 1985 and is currently sports editor and a sports presenter and reporter for UTV Live.
Before joining UTV he worked as a reporter for Scene Around Six and Inside Ulster, BBC Northern Ireland's evening news bulletins.
Adrian has reported on events across Ireland and around the world. He has also presented, reported and commentated on the Milk Cup Football Tournament and went on to host a weekly soccer magazine series, The Football Show, for UTV in 2005.
Adrian is a keen GAA supporter and has been UTV's principal reporter on all aspects of GAA sports; presenting its weekly highlights programme, The Gaelic Game, and as main host and reporter for its weekly GAA magazine series, End to End. He was also the main presenter for UTV’s World Cup Rugby coverage.
Adrian presented and reported on UTV's live coverage and highlights of the annual North West 200 and has also reported and presented from the Isle of Man TT.
In addition to sporting events, Adrian presented UTV's live coverage of the funerals of two of Northern Ireland's most famous sportsmen - Joey Dunlop in 2000 and George Best in 2005.
He is a busy speaker and was recently in the US at a international GAA event. He has also compered at Irish cultural events in San Francisco and London.
Lives
Adrian was born in Dungannon and still lives in Northern Ireland with his wife Monica and children Helen, Sean and Michael.
Hobbies/Interests
He enjoys reading, travel, Native American culture, music, squash and all sports.
